Tour Details
One thing that Grenada is famous for is its Waterfalls. Surrounded by mountains, rainforests, and rivers, our most recent findings suggest that the island has over 20 waterfall sites. We have created a tour to feature a few of these magnificent sites.
Annandale Waterfall is one of the smallest of Grenada’s waterfalls. Surrounded by tropical beauty, the falls lead to an ice-cold pool of crystal-clear water where you can take a cool dip!
Located on the east side of the island, Mount Carmel falls is two adjoining waterfalls. Also known as the Marquis Waterfall, it gains its name from the Marquis River that flows just below it. Plunging from a height of 70 feet, Mount Carmel is Grenada’s tallest waterfall. The beautiful double cascading falls provide some amazing photo opportunities, while the deep pool at the base, surrounded by thick jungle, is a unique and memorable swimming experience.
Set within the jungle carpeted Grand Etang National Park, in the central highlands, Seven Sisters Falls are a must for nature lovers. They boast refreshing falls with verdant rain forests surrounding them on all sides. Although there are meant to be seven falls, the current number has been researched and debated and it has now been confirmed as five. While accessing the first of the Seven Sisters has been described as moderate to difficult, getting to the others requires traversing more challenging wet terrain. This hike is for those with a spirit for adventure and those up for a challenge*.
By the end of this journey, you would be an accomplished waterfall specialist.
*Please let us know if you prefer a less challenging waterfall than Seven Sisters and we can make appropriate changes to the tour. Grenada has over 20 waterfalls.
